This decision changed my life completely; took me from my absolute lowest self and brought me into a world of so many possibilities (it was also difficult as f^ck in many moments). I have no doubt that I wouldn’t be here today if I hadn’t stopped drinking when I did.

If you’re struggling with alcohol, there is a solution, there is a way out, and there is hope for new beginnings every single day.

M + V (he/him + he/him) invited us to their incred

M + V (he/him + he/him) invited us to their incredible farm in Northern California to take their portraits. I’m sure you can tell from the photos—it was amazing.
Getting the opportunity to visit homes that have been created over the years with so much care, and having folks trust us to get vulnerable in their space is one of our favorite things ever. Your home is you, it’s where your love grows and your heart restores. It can be such a visual representation of your love in your day to day life, and we get so beyond stoked when we get invited over.
We chatted about homesteading, visited their many animals, strolled their grassy fields, and played in their kitchen (while eating incredible homemade jams and candied jalapenos—the direct route to our hearts).
We got to witness and capture M + V’s deep compassion and respect for each other, on their truly beautiful property. The property that they have plowed, paved, and built up—with their love, their community, and lots of hard work.

J + C (she/her + he/him) trusted us to take them to one of our favorite locations in Colorado, a series of vibrantly blue waterfalls surrounded by red rock canyon, tucked away in the San Juan mountains of CO. It’s one of the most lush and otherworldly places in the state and we are so excited when folks decide to elope here 😍
They started their morning getting ready in an aspen grove and said their vows surrounded by peaks and the rising sun. We then waded the chilly creek and hiked up to these secret waterfalls where they took it all in, and had coffee and ate homemade bagels with their dogs (who also stamped their 🐾 as witnesses!).
They shared their first dance on a cliff overlooking the creek, and then finished in the higher alpine meadows to read letters from family and friends.
Best wedding day ever? We think so.
